10月28日，据报道，韩国媒体与通信委员会（KMCC）发表声明称，韩国监管机构因谷歌和苹果涉嫌强制应用内支付，对其合计处以637亿韩元罚款。其中，谷歌被罚429亿韩元；苹果被罚208.1亿韩元。
监管机构认定，这两家运营商实施了《电信业务法》所禁止的行为，并决定发出纠正令，要求其修改业务程序。
