智通财经APP获悉，据知情人士透露，全球另类资产管理公司TPG(TPG.US)正与Elliott Investment Management洽谈，拟以约50亿美元的估值收购英国数据中心企业Ark。
报道称，相关谈判仍在进行中，但交易尚未确定。TPG和Ark Data Centres在非营业时间未立即回应置评请求。
据悉，Ark与英国内阁办公室设有合资企业Crown Hosting Data Centres，依托该主体，Ark可承接英国全部政府公共数据中心业务需求。
去年曾有报道指出，Elliott于2012年收购了Ark Data Centres后，一直在为该资产寻求战略处置方案，当时预期出售对价有望超40亿美元。
