《Control Resonant》被形容为“怪得让人开心”：作为续作，它不掩饰自己的怪趣味，把玩家丢进曼哈顿，面对各种超自然现象大肆作乱。游戏中有外形像弗朗西斯·培根式噩梦燃料的Boss，也有其他诡异事件。
