The 5th International Symposium on Marine Fisheries Monitoring and Management (Second Announcement)

渔业监测是现代渔业管理体系的重要基础。随着气候变化、人类活动以及海洋资源开发利用方式的不断变化，海洋渔业资源、生态环境、渔业生产方式和社会经济状况正在发生深刻变化，对渔业监测与管理提出了新的要求。与此同时，遥感、声学、电子监控、环境DNA、人工智能和大数据等新技术快速发展，为渔业资源调查、捕捞活动监测、生态环境评价、渔业社会经济状况动态监测与评估以及管理决策提供了新的技术手段。

为进一步加强国内外海洋渔业监测与管理领域的学术交流，分享最新研究进展和实践经验，探讨监测、评估与管理中的新思路、新方法和新技术，第五届海洋渔业监测与管理国际学术交流会定于2026年11月12日至14日在海南省海口市举行。

本届会议将围绕渔业资源与渔业海洋学，海洋渔业监测与评估的新技术、新方法，捕捞活动与渔业社会经济动态监测，以及全球变化背景下的渔业响应与可持续管理等议题开展交流。诚挚邀请国内外渔业资源、海洋生态、渔业管理及相关领域的专家学者、渔业管理部门代表、渔业从业者和研究生莅临参会。

现将会议有关事项通知如下。

Fisheries monitoring is a fundamental component of modern fisheries management. With ongoing climate change, intensifying human activities, and evolving patterns of marine resource exploitation and utilization, marine fishery resources, ecological environments, fisheries production, and socioeconomic conditions are undergoing profound changes, placing new demands on fisheries monitoring and management. At the same time, rapid advances in technologies such as remote sensing, fisheries acoustics, electronic monitoring, environmental DNA (eDNA), artificial intelligence, and big data are providing new tools for fishery resource surveys, monitoring of fishing activities, ecological and environmental assessment, dynamic monitoring and assessment of fisheries socioeconomic conditions, and fisheries management decision-making.

To further strengthen international and domestic academic exchange in the field of marine fisheries monitoring and management, share the latest research advances and practical experience, and explore new concepts, methods, and technologies in monitoring, assessment, and management,the 5th International Symposium on Marine Fisheries Monitoring and Managementwill be held in Haikou, Hainan Province, China, from November 12 to 14, 2026.

The symposium will focus on fishery resources and fisheries oceanography; new technologies and methods for marine fisheries monitoring and assessment; dynamic monitoring of fishing activities and fisheries socioeconomic conditions; and fisheries responses and sustainable management under global change. Experts and scholars in fishery resources, marine ecology, fisheries management, and related fields, as well as representatives from fisheries management authorities, fisheries practitioners, and graduate students from China and abroad, are cordially invited to attend the symposium.

本届会议拟采取主题报告、专题报告和墙报展示等形式开展学术交流。

The symposium will feature invited presentations, session presentations, and poster presentations to facilitate academic exchange.

主题报告Invited Presentations

围绕本届会议主要议题，邀请相关领域专家就渔业资源与渔业海洋学、渔业监测新技术与新方法、捕捞活动与渔业社会经济监测以及全球变化与渔业可持续管理等方面作专题性学术报告。

Experts in relevant fields will be invited to give presentations focusing on the major themes of the symposium, including fishery resources and fisheries oceanography, new technologies and methods for fisheries monitoring, monitoring of fishing activities and fisheries socioeconomic conditions, and fisheries responses and sustainable management under global change.

围绕本届会议的四个主要议题组织专题学术交流。报告人原则上根据提交的论文摘要、研究内容与会议主题的契合度以及会议整体安排确定。

Session presentations will be organized around the four major themes of the symposium. Presenters will generally be selected based on the submitted abstracts, the relevance of their research to the symposium themes, and the overall conference program.

墙报展示 Poster Presentations

设置墙报展示环节，为参会代表，特别是青年学者和研究生，提供研究成果展示与学术交流的平台。

Poster sessions will provide participants, particularly early-career researchers and graduate students, with opportunities to present their research findings and engage in academic exchange.

Participants are requested to submit an abstract. The Organizing Committee will review the submitted abstracts based on the symposium themes and content. Accepted abstracts will be included in the Symposium Abstract Book.

Abstracts should be prepared according to the abstract template provided by the Organizing Committee.

口头报告 Oral Presentations

欢迎参会代表申请作口头报告。报告内容应与会议主题相关，但不限于本通知所列四个具体议题。

组委会将综合考虑报告内容的科学性、创新性、与会议主题的相关性以及整体议程安排，确定最终口头报告名单。

口头报告PPT须采用中英文双语制作，并于2026年11月1日前提交。

Participants are welcome to apply for oral presentations. Presentations should be relevant to the overall scope of the symposium but are not limited to the four specific topics listed in this announcement.

The Organizing Committee will determine the final list of oral presentations based on thescientific quality, originality, relevance to the symposium themes, and overall program arrangements.

PowerPoint slides for oral presentations should be prepared inboth Chinese and English and submitted by November 1, 2026.

墙报展示 Poster Presentations

欢迎参会代表，特别是青年学者和研究生，申请墙报展示。

墙报统一采用竖版设计：

宽90 cm × 高120 cm

墙报电子文件须采用PDF格式，并于2026年11月1日前提交。

墙报由会务组统一印制。

Participants, particularly early-career researchers and graduate students, are encouraged to present their research in the poster sessions.

Posters should be prepared in portrait orientation, with the following dimensions:

90 cm (width) × 120 cm (height)

Poster files should be submitted inPDF format by November 1, 2026.

All accepted posters will be printed by the Organizing Committee.

论文征集

Call for Papers

本次会议将与国内水产科学领域具有重要影响力的学术期刊《中国水产科学》合作组织专刊，面向参会代表及相关学者征集高质量学术论文。专刊投稿通道将于近期开放，拟于2027年7月正式刊出。具体投稿要求及时间安排将另行通知。

The symposium will collaborate with theJournal of Fishery Sciences of China, an influential academic journal in the field of fisheries science in China, to organize a special issue and invite high-quality research papers from symposium participants and other researchers in related fields. The submission system for the special issue is expected to open soon, and the issue is scheduled for publication in July 2027. Detailed submission guidelines and the relevant timeline will be announced separately.
