埃塞俄比亚总理办公室10月16日发布声明，宣布在该国北部提格雷州设立临时政府，以帮助该地区实现重建。声明表示，“提格雷人民解放阵线”武装发动的破坏性战争已经结束，临时政府将承担包括恢复和平与安全、重建政府架构、修复受损基础设施以及组织地区选举等工作。（新华社）
