10月14日，上合示范区开通至格鲁吉亚TIR国际公路运输线路。两辆满载服装的TIR国际公路运输车在青岛海关监管下从上合示范区出发，18天后抵达格鲁吉亚，相较海运节约了近一半的时间。
目前，上合示范区已开通7条TIR国际公路运输线路，今年前三季度累计发运TIR国际公路运输车277辆，货值2.4亿元。
