当地时间10月15日，哈佛大学在截至6月的财政年度财务报告中表示，其捐赠基金规模跃升至创纪录的680亿美元，基金回报率达到27%。受股市普遍上涨和对冲基金投资组合收益推动，捐赠基金在这一期间总计增加110亿美元。
随着哈佛大学调整运营并削减成本，该校录得1亿美元盈余，而上一年度则录得规模相近的赤字。
