日本江崎格力高公司10月14日宣布，将翻新大阪标志性地标——道顿堀巨型电子广告牌“道顿堀格力高广告牌”。2014年安装的目前第六代广告牌将于11月底停止展示。根据计划，第七代广告牌将于2027年春季亮相。
关于翻新的背景原因，格力高称，一般LED广告牌的使用寿命据称约为10年，而现有广告牌已使用约12年，零部件的采购变得日益困难。翻新工程计划12月启动，届时广告牌将被罩布等遮盖。
