#日本# #靖国神社秋日大祭# #靖国神社#She was nine when Japanese germ warfare took her sight. At 14, Japanese soldiers took her into sexual slavery. They broke her toes. She never had children. Today, there are only six registered survivors of Japan's wartime "comfort women" system left on the Chinese mainland. In March this year, 16 independent United Nations human rights experts issued a joint statement calling for truth, justice and reparation for survivors of the so-called "comfort women" system established and controlled by Japan during World War II. CGTN travels to Yueyang, Hunan, to hear Peng Zhuying and her nephew, Peng Zifang, tell a story that is not just history – it's her life.
