10月13日，Visa（NYSE: V）宣布，已正式获中国人民银行批准在中国境内筹备银行卡清算机构。Visa将继续完成后续工作，并在中国境内开展银行卡清算业务。Visa首席执行官麦凯恩（Ryan McInerney）表示：此次筹备申请获批是Visa长期致力于服务中国市场的又一重要里程碑。公司期待按照中国人民银行的相关监管规定，积极开展后续工作，以争取早日在国内展业。
