10月12日6:30新皇岗口岸正式开通，实行“一地两检”“合作查验、一次放行”，旅检及客运车辆24小时通关。据深圳边检总站统计，截至18时，经新皇岗口岸出入境人员5.2万人次，其中入境2.7万、出境2.5万；出入境车辆0.56万辆次，其中入境0.3万、出境0.26万。深港通勤、商务、探亲更省时，湾区互联互通再提速。（大湾区之声）
