10月12日上午6点30分，皇岗口岸联检大楼正式开通运行。现场举行庄严的升旗仪式，五星红旗在新口岸上空缓缓升起。这一刻，服务深港多年的皇岗口岸以全新面貌重新出发，为旅客和客运车辆提供24小时通关服务。从两地两检到一地两检，通关时间从30分钟缩短到5分钟。双城生活更便捷，深港融合再提速。
