AMITIME’s SilentSTAR Heat Pump Series Receives TÜV Rheinland Recognition for Industry-Leading Noise Performance

On October 8, 2026, AMITIME’s SilentSTAR residential heat pump series received TÜV Rheinland recognition for having the lowest maximum noise level in the industry.

AMITIME General Manager Arthur Zheng, Director of the International Center Jack Yu, and Shi Zhe, Regional General Manager of Electrical and Electronics Services at TÜV Rheinland Greater China, attended the award ceremony.

Maximum Measured Sound Power Level of 59.1 dB(A) Under High Load

The tests were conducted in accordance with EN 12102-1:2022, with third-party verification of SilentSTAR’s sound power level under its maximum designed operating conditions.

The results showed sound power levels of 59.0 dB(A) and 59.1 dB(A) under two test conditions, with a maximum measured value of 59.1 dB(A).

The tests were carried out under SilentSTAR’s maximum designed operating conditions, rather than at low loads or under particularly favorable conditions. The results show that SilentSTAR maintains a low sound power level even under high operating loads.

Third-Party Recognition for Quieter Homes

For residential heat pumps, noise is not just a performance indicator. It also directly affects the comfort of everyday living.

In residential projects where buildings are close together, or outdoor units are near bedrooms, gardens, terraces, or property boundaries, noise performance is an important factor in product selection and installation planning.

This recognition for the industry’s lowest maximum noise level provides third-party evidence of SilentSTAR’s low-noise performance under high loads. It also offers a useful reference for distributors and installers when assessing noise performance and planning installations.

Continued Investment in Acoustic Research

As the heat pump industry develops, noise remains an important factor affecting user comfort and product applications. AMITIME continues to focus on noise control for residential heat pumps and invests in acoustic research and development.

The company has two specialized noise laboratories equipped with professional testing equipment. Through systematic testing and analysis, AMITIME continuously evaluates heat pump noise performance and works to reduce noise at three levels: noise source, sound transmission path, and structural design.

This ongoing research and testing provide a technical foundation for improving SilentSTAR’s noise performance. The TÜV Rheinland recognition further reflects AMITIME’s technical expertise and long-term investment in acoustic technology for residential heat pumps.

测试结果显示，在两组测试工况下，SilentSTAR的声功率级分别为59.0 dB(A)和59.1 dB(A)，其中最高实测值为59.1 dB(A)。
