Boston Dynamics 给 Atlas 换了一双新机械手。这次的目标不是抓箱子，而是使用人类工具。
新手有 13 个自由度，旧的三指手只有 7 个。多出来的自由度用在哪？一只 4 自由度的对掌拇指，可以沿每根手指滑动，实现对捏动作。
为工具而生
手指能侧向张开，握住工具柄的同时还能操作扳机。官方点名的工具包括电钻、砂轮机、射钉枪和焊枪。
换手之后，Atlas 依然能搬运 100lb+ 的满载小冰箱。量产目标是每年 10 万只。
