9月27日，爱知・名古屋亚运会乒乓球女单决赛，孙颖莎获得银牌。赛后接受采访时，孙颖莎表示下一届亚运会间隔变为5年，“5年确实太漫长了，有可能等不到下一届亚运会”。此前孙颖莎坦言，伤病问题曾让自己感到焦虑。据公开资料显示，孙颖莎2000年出生于河北石家庄。
