据siphillipstalkschelsea消息，胡萨诺夫目前在曼城并不能稳坐首发位置，切尔西方面认为，可以凭借哈维·阿隆索麾下的主力位置吸引他加盟。
胡萨诺夫既能出任中后卫，也能客串右后卫，被认为非常适配阿隆索三中卫体系中的右侧中卫位置。
