当地时间9月27日，英国警方表示，英国一处美军使用的空军基地发生“重大事件”，数名男子被捕，多处住宅被疏散。
当地警方称，这起事件发生在英国格洛斯特郡的费尔福德皇家空军基地。被捕者因涉嫌违反英国《爆炸物法》相关规定，目前已被警方拘留。英国陆军专业爆炸物处理小组已抵达现场，正在对多辆汽车进行检查。（总台记者 陈林聪）
