谈到从重伤中恢复的经历时，欧文表示：“我想对所有人说，感谢你们的祈福和支持……做到这一切并不容易，但是能够把球投进篮筐，能够以高水平打球，这是我的荣幸。”
因为左膝前交叉韧带撕裂，欧文从去年3月份一直缺阵至今。
