据《扬州日报》报道，今年前8月，扬州地区造船完工量达115艘、总载重吨682.53万吨，同比增长37.34%；辖区船厂手持订单587艘，同比增长21.28%，总载重吨3010.95万吨，同比增长33.09%。此外，船厂新增订单215艘，同比增长46.26%，总载重吨1087.70万吨，同比增长76.55%，产业发展后劲十足。
