9月17日，据报道，在苹果发布首款折叠屏iPhone Duo后，三星正考虑加快下一代三折叠手机Galaxy Z TriFold 2的上市进程，最快可能于2026年底或2027年初发布，此前预计发布时间为2027年下半年。
据报道，Galaxy Z TriFold 2已开发数月，可能采用更宽、更短的机身，并配备S Pen手写笔插槽。三星希望将新机售价维持在与首代产品“几乎相同”的水平。
