美国、日本官员消息称，美日两国正磋商共建一座半导体工厂，该项目属于双方已达成的5500亿美元投资计划的一部分。
日经表示，该项目规模或将达到2万亿至3万亿日元（约合人民币128.38亿至192.57亿美元）。
相关磋商于9月14日至15日举行。
工厂运营方将为格芯（Global Foundries）。
