9月14日，开山集团股份有限公司与肯尼亚地热开发公司（Geothermal Development Company，简称“GDC”）在内罗毕签署合作框架协议。根据该框架协议，双方规划在GDC的特许经营区，位于东非大裂谷的五大地热区块——Silali、Paka、Korosi、Baringo和Suswa展开深度合作，共同开发。据介绍，这五大地热区块的潜在资源支持大约2吉瓦（GW）的装机规模容量。
