9月14日，三峡新材（600293.SH）公告，公司拟通过全资子公司三峡新材硅业（宜昌）有限公司投资不超过1.99亿元建设红岩头玻璃用砂岩矿采矿工程，项目建成后将形成年产200万吨玻璃用砂岩矿原矿的开采能力。本次投资已获董事会审议通过并经国家相关主管部门备案，项目目前处于筹备阶段。
