IT时代网9月12日消息，据海外媒体报道，在遭董事会停职仅两天后，Automattic 创始人 Matt Mullenweg 通过公司内部通讯工具表示，自己已恢复首席执行官职务。
据多方员工消息确认，Mullenweg 在内部渠道中称已重新掌权。数日前，Automattic 董事会以未知原因投票免去其首席执行官职务，并任命首席财务官 Mark Davies 为临时首席执行官；Mullenweg 则称 Davies 与董事会合谋，自己投了反对票。
Automattic 方面尚未确认 Mullenweg 说法的真实性，公司暂未回应置评请求。Mullenweg 在回复询问时表示将发布一篇博客文章，而该博客内容最终写的是他购置一艘船屋的经历。
