9月7日，华为举办新品发布会。华为常务董事、终端BG董事长余承东发表演讲。在介绍“阔直板”Pura X View时，余承东表示华为Pura X View可以与苹果iPhone实现文件格式互通。同时，他表示：“苹果用户可以买一个我们的‘阔直板’做备用机。没准儿用着用着就变成主力机了，我有这个信心。”
