A Moment of Silence Honoring the 25th Anniversary of September 11

This year's concert carries a profound resonance. Paul Sladkus, founder of the concert and of Good News Corporation, said:

"On September 11, 2001, a tragedy brought grief to this very city of New York. Twenty‑five years later, we gather once again at the Crossroads of the World — turning remembrance into resolve. The 25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance in this year's program is a reminder that peace is not an abstraction, but a promise made to every generation — and that from the site of wounds can rise the world's most enduring message of healing."

Woodstock Forever & America's 250th

The event also marks the global premiere of the documentary Woodstock, Forever: Peace, Love and HOPE, filmed by Good News Corporation founder Paul Sladkus and the Woodstock Generation Group alongside Richie Havens since 1989. Premiering globally on September 21 following the concert, the film arrives in the year of America's 250th anniversary, celebrating freedom of speech and the enduring spirit of peace and love.

Global Peace Poles

In partnership with May Peace Prevail on Earth, the organizers are launching a virtual Global Peace Pole Project, inviting families, communities, and institutions around the world to place a Peace Pole in their country, community, home, or business.

About the Organizer

Good News Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2002, has served as Executive Producer of the concert for 24 consecutive years, working closely with NYC Parks, SAPO, and the Times Square Alliance to present this free historic concert annually. According to McKinsey & Co., 1.6 billion people worldwide are now aware of Peace Day. The 2025 broadcasts reached more than 4 million global impressions.

With global media requests surging and Mr. Sladkus unable to attend every interview in person, he has recently appointed Prince John‑Wang Guoquan — international cross‑cultural public welfare exchange envoy, renowned singer and "Prince of Love Songs" international host as Press Spokesperson for the 24th Annual International Day of Peace Concert. Wang Guoquan said: "Like Latin superstar Shakira and other artists, although scheduling conflicts prevent me from being there in person, I will actively support the organizer's media coverage through online virtual connections, fully back this event, and contribute to world peace — it is both my honor and my mission."
