9月4日，高盛（GS.US）预计，人民币未来将持续有序升值，每年升幅约3%至5%；2028年底有望升至6.0元人民币兑1美元，2031年底或升至5.5元人民币兑1美元。高盛认为，这种渐进式升值是在兼顾出口份额、金融安全，以及宏观经济大局下的最 佳政策选择，并称这种有序且可预期的升值步伐，将对其他亚洲货币形成支撑。
