北京时间9月2日，据ESPN节目中记者Federico Bueno透露，如果斯卡洛尼续约，尼科-帕斯将穿阿根廷国家队10号。
该记者表示：“如果斯卡洛尼续约，尼科-帕斯将身披阿根廷国家队10号球衣。”
此前，梅西已经自宣退出阿根廷国家队，他是原本阿根廷国家队10号球衣的所有者。
现年21岁的尼科-帕斯目前效力于科莫，上赛季在40场比赛中贡献13球7助攻，同时他目前已经为阿根廷国家队出场11次。
