9月1日，奇瑞集团披露最新数据，8月其销售汽车约28万辆，同比增长15.4%。其中，集团出口约19.7万辆；新能源车销售约12.09万辆。1至8月，奇瑞集团累计销售汽车约为191.45万辆，同比增长10.8%。其中，累计出口约134.33万辆，同比增长68.1%；新能源汽车累计销量约72.52万辆，同比增长46.2%。截至8月底，奇瑞集团海外用户超718万，成为首个累计出口突破700万辆的中国车企。
