世界田联8月27日在官网发文，悼念因病去世的中国女子跳高名宿郑凤荣，致敬其对田径事业所作出的突出贡献。
郑凤荣是中国第一个打破世界纪录的女运动员，也是中国第一个田径世界纪录的创造者。她于2026年8月25日因病逝世，享年89岁。
世界田联称赞郑凤荣是中国跳高运动的先驱，她创造世界纪录的成就在中国引发强烈反响，她被誉为“宣告中国体育春天来临的报春燕”。（新华社）
