8月23日晚，第一财经记者获悉，在第二届世界人形机器人运动会1500米田径决赛中，天卓队以2分21秒64的成绩夺得第一。根据公开资料，目前1500米田径世界纪录为3分26秒（男子），本次天卓队的天工Ultra再次突破了人类纪录。
另外，当天大型组400米决赛、小型组（身高≤1.4米）400米决赛的冠军均是天工机器人。据了解，天工机器人由北京人形机器人创新中心研发。
