北京时间8月21日，据ClutchPoints记者布雷特-西格尔报道，若德罗赞愿接受底薪，掘金愿意签下。
西格尔表示：“如果德罗赞愿意接受一份底薪合同，掘金会很乐意签下他。目前这是他们能提供的全部。看起来德罗赞正试图拿到全额或部分中产特例合同。”
在交易走佩顿-沃特森后，掘金将德罗赞视为补强目标，但受薪资空间限制，只能提供底薪合同。
