据日本知名爆料人ryokutya透露，《空之轨迹 the 2nd》的试玩版预计将于2026年8月20日正式上线。玩家将可以体验游戏的序章及第一章内容，总流程约10小时。
试玩版的进度可继承至正式版，玩家在试玩版中的存档将能够无缝衔接，继续推进后续剧情。
ryokutya此前曾准确预告过《空之轨迹 the 1st》试玩版的相关信息，因此本次爆料具有一定可信度。不过，截至发稿，官方尚未对试玩版的上线时间作出正式确认。
《空之轨迹 the 2nd》将于2026年9月17日正式发售，登陆Nintendo Switch 2、Nintendo Switch、PlayStation 5及Steam平台。
