IT之家 8 月 14 日消息，谷歌前天宣布 Google TV 平台的 Freeplay 服务将迎来大升级，提供超 1 万部免费电影、电视剧。
据悉，Freeplay 原本是免费提供电视直播频道的平台，内容涵盖新闻、体育、真人秀、娱乐等领域，拥有超 300 个频道。
谷歌表示，本次新增的电影和电视剧来自 A24、Lionsgate 等公司，涵盖《伯德小姐》《重返十七岁》和《地狱厨房》等作品。片源将在今年持续更新，可观看的内容将不断增加。
本次更新会直接推送到 Google TV Streamer 设备，以及索尼、TCL 和海信等品牌的智能电视，无需额外下载。
Freeplay 服务仅面向美国用户且带有广告，需要 Google 账号和高速互联网连接。
