8月14日，据报道，SK集团董事长崔泰源接受采访时表示，SK海力士正考虑以合资方式建设新的存储芯片工厂，以降低传统行业盛衰周期下巨额资本支出和产能过剩带来的风险。崔泰源还警告称，目前存储芯片供应紧张的局面将在2027年进一步加剧。
