中国共产党优秀党员，我国航天事业开拓者之一，著名空间技术专家，中国科学院院士，国家“两弹一星功勋奖章”获得者，中国航天科技集团有限公司科学技术委员会原顾问，中国空间技术研究院技术顾问王希季同志，因病医治无效，于2026年8月12日在北京逝世，享年105岁。
