北京时间8月12日，马刺球员卡特-布莱恩特在播客节目中聊到了自己和波波维奇训练的一段往事。
卡布回忆道：“我记得有一回，波波维奇直接跟我说，‘你这启动的步伐是我见过最糟糕的，赶紧去好好看看科比、罗伊他们是怎么迈出那一步的，看看人家的启动步多具攻击性。’我很吃他这套直来直去的风格，他对我完全没有含糊过。”
