北京时间8月10日，NBA历史上胜场数排名第二的主教练唐-尼尔森于周日去世，享年86岁。湖人球员卢卡-东契奇更新社媒，悼念尼尔森。
东契奇写道：“今天是篮球界悲伤的一天，唐-尼尔森去世了。我对他及其为篮球运动所做的一切充满敬意，尤其是他始终信任国际球员的态度。我很感激曾与他共度的时光。今天，我的思绪与尼尔森全家同在。教练，很高兴能认识您。”
