8月9日，宁德时代宣布，公司为载人版eVTOL研发的航空动力电池系统，通过两颗相邻电芯热失控不扩散验证。宁德时代介绍，这是全球首个使用能量密度高达350Wh/kg方壳电芯并通过测试的航空动力电池系统。该航空电池系统已具备批量生产能力，将率先应用于峰飞eVTOL载人飞行器。
