Partnering with Brazil’s National-level Transportation Agency ANTT to Sign Railway MOU
From August 2 to 5, Alessandro Baumgartner, Director and Railway Transportation Director of the Brazilian National Land Transportation Agency (Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres, abbreviated as ANTT), led a management delegation on a four-day in-depth visit and exchange program to PCI Technology’s headquarters. In recent years, Brazil has continued to increase investment in railway and highway infrastructure development. ANTT is the authoritative agency of the Brazilian federal government responsible for the concession management and operational supervision of land transportation infrastructure. Its visit fully demonstrates Brazil’s strong interest in China’s smart transportation technologies and its positive intention to deepen infrastructure cooperation between China and Brazil.
During the visit, the ANTT delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of PCI Technology’s technological achievements and integrated solutions in the smart transportation sector. A number of PCI Technology’s innovative AI-enabled transportation management applications received high recognition from the ANTT delegation. The two sides had detailed discussions on topics including system integration, core technology products, and prospects for localized applications in Brazil and South America, while exchanging development strategies and implementation plans.
On August 5, Ms. Chen Jiao, Chairwoman and Executive President of PCI Technology Group, together with senior officials from ANTT, witnessed the signing of the MOU.According to the memorandum, ANTT will support PCI Technology in carrying out railway-related business across Brazil, providing energetic policy and resource support for deeper cooperation between the two sides in areas such as railway intelligence and AI applications. In the future, PCI Technology will actively collaborate with ecosystem partners at home and abroad to provide customized smart transportation solutions for the Latin American market and contribute to sustainable urban development worldwide.

Engaging with Multiple Moroccan Institutions to Build a Smart Transportation
Cooperation Network in North Africa
From July 27 to 29, one week before signing multiple agreements with partners in Brazil, PCI Technology traveled to Morocco for in-depth exchanges with leading African university UIR, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, the National Railways Office (Office National des Chemins de Fer, abbreviated as ONCF), and other relevant institutions. PCI Technology also officially signed a MOU with UIR, marking a significant breakthrough in its efforts to deepen its presence in the smart transportation and smart city markets in North Africa.
This industry-academia collaboration closely aligns with Morocco’s industrial upgrading needs and the core mission of ensuring transportation support for the 2030 FIFA World Cup. By integrating PCI Technology’s AI, digital twin, smart rail transit, and urban governance technologies with the AI research capabilities and international talent development resources of UIR, the two sides have reached four key areas of consensus:joint establishment of laboratories, collaborative research projects, localized talent cultivation, and commercialization and application of technological achievements. PCI Technology will replicate its mature industry-academia collaboration model developed in China overseas, creating a two-way channel connecting “industrial technologies + local research capabilities”. The two sides will jointly conduct R&D in areas including passenger flow prediction, intelligent operation and maintenance, road safety, and digital cities. Technical solutions will be optimized in accordance with Moroccan industry standards, establishing an innovation foundation for large-scale project implementation.

In addition to its in-depth cooperation with universities, PCI Technology also engaged in discussions with multiple Moroccan government institutions. At Morocco’s Ministry of Transport and Logistics, the Minister and relevant officials elaborated on the country’s medium- and long-term transportation development strategy, covering railway passenger and freight transport, smart highways, civil aviation infrastructure, and modern logistics, thereby highlighting significant demand for large-scale intelligent transformation. Focusing on its core strengths in areas such as digitalization of rail transit and AI-powered intelligent inspection, the PCI Technology team exchanged ideas with Moroccan counterparts on localized development approaches. The National Railways Office of Morocco (Office National des Chemins de Fer, abbreviated as ONCF) and Moroccan Airports Authority (ONDA) also held discussions with PCI Technology on areas including freight transportation digitalization, intelligent rail inspection, and airport information system development. Through high-level and multi-dimensional engagements, PCI Technology is collaborating with university research platforms to establish localized innovation hubs in North Africa, continuously strengthening the brand influence of China’s smart transportation technologies in the African market.
