知情人士透露，对冲基金Millennium Management已延揽大宗商品交易老手Ryan Sheffler；Sheffler原定加入Point72 Asset Management，但尚未履新。
知情人士透露，Sheffler将担任Millennium的高级投资组合经理，专注于大宗商品。由于涉及未公开人事问题，知情人士要求匿名。
Millennium这次拦截式招聘，再次证明了资金雄厚的对冲基金为了招揽顶尖人才而不择手段；即使该人才已经同意到其他公司任职。
根据他的领英资料显示，Sheffler之前在Castleton Commodities International从事跨商品交易近14年。 在此之前，他曾在高盛担任高级交易员四年多。
Millennium和Point72均拒绝置评。
