8月4日，云南临沧消防接到村民求助，在后山茶地发现眼镜王蛇筑窝，“魂都吓飞了”。
眼镜王蛇对村民劳作构成较大威胁，消防员迅速赶到现场将蛇捕获，并找到38枚蛇蛋，随后移交林草部门处理。
