据日本媒体报道，当地时间6日上午7时59分左右，日本熊本县天草・芦北地区附近发生5.1级地震，震源深度10公里。
长崎县、熊本县、鹿儿岛县等地观测到的最大震度为4。
日本气象厅表示，此次地震不会引发海啸，相关地区无需担心海啸影响。
