北京时间8月4日，据Hoopshype记者Michael Scotto报道，开拓者已聘请阿米尔-巴胡尔担任发展联盟球队混音队的主教练，并任命詹姆斯-布罗卡托为篮球创新总监。
巴胡尔近年来一直在魔术队效力，曾担任球队首席视频协调员和助理教练。布罗卡托则于2014年被小牛队聘用，并自2015年起担任该队数据分析总监。
