据新华社消息，湖南省长沙市岳麓区消防救援局8月2日发布情况通报：
8月1日3时54分，长沙市岳麓区麓谷街道保利麓谷林语小区一高层住宅发生火灾，现场共救出6名伤员并第一时间送医救治。
经医疗机构全力救治，截至8月2日16时，4名伤员因伤势过重不幸离世，2名伤者仍在积极救治中。
事故原因调查和相关善后工作正在开展中。
