7月28日上午10时17分，上海大歌剧院迎来首轮正式开票。10月至11月，威尼斯凤凰歌剧院、马林斯基剧院、柏林国家歌剧院将先后来访上海大歌剧院，三大世界顶尖歌剧院将带着三个全新版本的歌剧巨作，献上亚洲首演、唯一一站。
此外，10月23日至28日，瓦莱里·捷杰耶夫还将执棒马林斯基交响乐团，在上海大歌剧院献上肖斯塔科维奇的全部15首交响曲。
