北京时间7月28日，据韩国媒体人、评论员朴文成（音译，Park Mun-seong）消息，韩国国脚李东炅未能拿到劳工证，转会斯托克城告吹。
据报道，为韩国国脚李东炅申请劳工证的努力宣告失败，他转会至斯托克城的交易也因此告吹。他将不得不另寻出路，以便在欧洲踢球。
