43岁高校教授不幸去世，绝笔信公布

7月24日凌晨，石河子大学文学艺术学院微信公众号发布讣告：

石河子大学文学艺术学院（新闻传播学院）党委委员、副院长，新疆非物质文化遗产研究中心创始主任，北京大学文学博士，国家“万人计划”青年拔尖人才，二级教授、博士生导师吴新锋同志，因病医治无效，于2026年7月23日23时31分在兰州逝世，享年43岁。

Wu Xinfeng, a respected professor at Shihezi University's College of Literature and Art, passed away on Thursday evening in Lanzhou, Gansu province, due to illness. He was 43. The university announced his death in a public notice on Friday morning.

吴新锋，1982年10月生，山东临沂人，中共党员。2002年考入石河子大学，后两度赴北京大学深造并获硕士、博士学位。他创建新疆非物质文化遗产研究中心，2024年获评“全国非物质文化遗产保护工作先进个人”。

2017年确诊肺癌后，他与病魔顽强抗争九年，以病躯坚守学术与育人一线，诠释了“生命不息、奋斗不止”的崇高品格。

Wu, a native of Linyi, Shandong province, was born in October 1982. He began his academic journey at Shihezi University in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region in 2002, later earning both his master's and doctoral degrees in literature from Peking University.

At the time of his death, Wu served as associate dean of the college and was the founding director of the Xinjiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Center.

Wu was first diagnosed with lung cancer in 2017. Despite aggressive treatment and a declining physical condition, he continued teaching and mentoring students for nine years, rarely stepping away from his research responsibilities.

7月24日8时39分，石河子大学文学艺术学院公众号再次发文悼念吴新锋副院长，其中公布了吴新锋的绝笔：

他写道：

“这九年，我一直在和病痛顽强抗争，拼尽全力站在讲台前，陪着一届又一届的你们走完求学的路。可如今，身体终究走到了极限，不得不和各位正式说再见了。”

“我亲爱的学生，希望你们积极热忱地面对学业、工作与生活，认真走好每一步，活出属于自己的光彩，这便是我最大的心愿，我也会一直为你们感到欣慰与欢喜。”

In a final letter published by the college on Friday, Wu addressed his students directly:

“For these nine years, I have fought fiercely against illness, doing everything I could to stand before you in the classroom, accompanying you through your academic journeys, class after class. But now, my body has finally reached its limit, and I must say a formal farewell to all of you.”

He added: “My dear students, I hope you face your studies, your work, and your lives with energy and sincerity. Take every step seriously, and live out your own brilliance. That is my greatest wish, and I will always take joy and pride in your achievements.”

吴新锋的多名学生和同事提笔写下缅怀的文字，一名学生说：“几天前我还为一次面试的事和您沟通，得到了您非常非常认真的回复。前阵子要出发参会您也是第一时间支持，怎么就这么突然。您曾答应有机会一定要来我家小院坐坐的，这天气新疆最适合晚上吹着小风烤肉吃了，您一直说要来的。”

Colleagues and former students have since shared tributes online. One student recalled a recent exchange about an interview, writing: “Just days ago, you gave me such a thoughtful and detailed reply. ...How could this happen so suddenly? You once promised to visit my family's courtyard someday — summer nights in Xinjiang are perfect for grilling and sitting under the stars. You always said you would come.”
