7月24日下午，山西省水利厅和山西省气象局联合发布山洪灾害气象风险预警，预计未来12小时，受强降雨影响，山西省太原市西北部、阳泉市、吕梁市北部和中部、晋中市、长治市、晋城市、临汾市东部、运城市东部8个市49个县可能发生山洪（蓝色预警）；其他地区也可能因局地短历时强降水引发山洪灾害，各地应注意做好实时监测、防汛预警和转移避险等防范工作。
