当地时间7月23日，35岁的中国数学家王虹获国际数学最高奖“菲尔兹奖”，成为历史上首位中国籍、世界第三位获得该奖的女性数学家。法国总统马克龙致电王虹表示祝贺。
王虹现为法国高等科学研究所（IHES）数学学科终身教授，是该所历史上首位华人、首位亚裔终身教授。
